I’m excited to announce that I’ve joined the University of Kentucky College of Social Work as a Research Assistant. This role allows me to collaborate closely with experienced faculties, while honing my skills in advanced research methodologies. I’m looking forward to applying these insights to foster positive social change. Eager to contribute to impactful research that supports individuals and communities!

• Delegated, coordinated, and contacted local and non-local survivors of human trafficking to provide them educational scholarships and employment opportunities through the F.R.E.E. (Foundation, Readiness, Education, Employment) Program.
• Directly worked with the Program Coordinator of the Global Association of Human Trafficking Scholars (GAHTS) program to responds to human trafficking by moving the knowledge base forward by providing resources and career-advancing opportunities related to human trafficking work to the GAHTS members.
• Acted as the host of the Emancipation Nation network (ENN) which is a community-based platform of more than 1000 members including researchers, anti-human trafficking activists, law makers and social activists.
• Built the Self-care society network to serve the Community health workers and Neighborhood navigators in the greater Toledo area. The network actively served 50 members to ensure their internal growth and external achievement in their professional life.
• Prepared, applied and secured the Zonta grant to ensure financial support to several anti-human trafficking project run by the Human trafficking and Social Justice Institute. The amount of the grant was 5000 USD.

• Conducted research and data analysis that included literature reviews, surveys, and interviews. identified and evaluated sources of information, as well as analyzed data and drew conclusions.
• Prepared reports and presentations and communicated my findings effectively in writing and orally. Those included creating reports, presentations, and other materials for dissemination to stakeholders.
• Provided administrative support to the social work department such as scheduling appointments, managing correspondence, and preparing travel arrangements, where always maintained confidentiality and worked independently with minimal supervision.
• Developed program plans, implemented programs, and evaluated program outcomes as assigned by the social work department. In these projects, worked collaboratively with other graduate assistants and applied critical thinking about social problems and solutions.
• Managed social media accounts of the social work department, provided customer service, attended meetings and conferences, and represented the organization at events.

• Led a group of ten field workers, helped the HR in Staff recruitment and orientation, staff training, conducted baseline surveys, and finalized project planning.
• Provided training on labor rights and legal protection to the shrimp industry workers. Organized the orientation training on formation of associations, and training on labor networking.
• Advocated with the department of labor and employment of govt. of Bangladesh for law-enforcing and monitoring to shrimp processing factories and involved civil society organizations in this project.
• Arranged, monitored, and successfully organized several workshops with laborers, oversaw procession of factory laborers, and coordinated meetings with civil society organizations and labor organizations.

• Conducted assessments and developed treatment plans. Directly worked with patients to assess their needs and develop treatment plans that address those needs by gathering information about the patient’s medical history, social situation, and financial resources.
• Advocated for the patients by helping them navigate the healthcare system and obtain the resources they need.
• Educated patients and their families about their health conditions, including how to manage their symptoms, prevent complications, and adhere to their treatment plans.
• Conducted surveys, interviews, and focus groups.
